Hitart is an effective remedy for the prevention of osteoporosis

World Osteoporosis Day is celebrated annually on October 20, with the theme “Take Action for Bone Health” in 2021.

Given that, according to scientific observations, one in three women and one in five men over 50 in the world have an increased risk of osteoporotic fractures, the campaign aims to motivate people to prevent the development of osteoporosis and treat it promptly.

Osteoporosis leads to the fact that bones lose their strength, become brittle and easily break even due to a slight load: falling, hitting, sneezing or sudden movement. These fractures can be life-threatening and cause permanent pain and long-term disability.

Prevention of osteoporosis involves 5 important steps:

1. Regular physical activity: exercises with additional weight are best suited for balancing and strengthening muscles;
2. Rational nutrition: the diet should have enough calcium, vitamin D, and protein;
3. A healthy lifestyle: you need to maintain normal body weight, stop smoking and excessive alcohol consumption;
4. Identification of risk factors: genetic predisposition, history of fractures, or medication that affects bone health;
5. Examination and timely treatment: this will help protect yourself from future fractures.

In 2020, the pharmaceutical company Astrapharm presented a comprehensive tool for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints and spine, periodontopathic and fractures – chondroprotective Hitart.

Hitart contributes to the normalization of the functioning of the musculoskeletal system due to the synergy of three active components:
• glucosamine hydrochloride prevents the destruction of cartilage;
• chondroitin sodium sulfate reduces calcium loss and stimulates the regeneration of cartilage tissue in the joints;
• organic sulfur (MSM) stimulates the production of joint fluid.

Hitart is available in the form of capsules containing 325 mg of glucosamine hydrochloride, 325 mg of chondroitin sodium sulfate and 200 mg of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), as well as in vials with a solution for injection containing 200 mg of chondroitin sodium sulfate.

The dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

Astrapharm is the art of helping people!
