The composition 1 tablets:
- active substance: phenibut;
- 1 tablet contains phenibut 250 mg;
- excipients: lactose, monohydrate; potato starch; calcium stearate.
Dosage form. Tablets
Basic physical and chemical properties: tablets from white to white with a yellowish tinge, oval in shape with a biconvex surface.
Indications. Psychostimulants and nootropics. Asthenic and anxious-neurotic states (emotional lability, memory impairment, decreased concentration), anxiety, fear, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder. Children over 8 years old have stuttering, enuresis, tics. In elderly patients - insomnia, nighttime restlessness. Prevention of stressful conditions, before surgery or painful diagnostic tests. Meniere's disease, dizziness associated with dysfunction of the vestibular apparatus, prevention of motion sickness. As an aid during the treatment of withdrawal symptoms in alcoholism. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute renal failure.10 tablets in a blister. 2 blisters in a cardboard box.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute renal failure.
Method of administration and dosage.
Phenibut-Astrapharm is taken orally before meals.
For asthenic and anxiety-neurotic states, adults are prescribed 250-500 mg 3 times a day. The highest single dose for adults is 750 mg, for elderly patients – 500 mg.
The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. If necessary, the course of treatment can be increased to 4-6 weeks.
Children over 8 years old – 250 mg 3 times a day, children over 14 years old – doses for adults.
With dizziness associated with dysfunction of the vestibular apparatus of infectious genesis and with Meniere’s disease, the drug is prescribed 750 mg 3 times a day for 5-7 days, with a decrease in the severity of vestibular disorders – 250-500 mg 3 times a day for 5-7 days, and then 250 mg 1 time per day for 5 days. With a relatively mild course of diseases, Phenibut-Astrapharm is used 250 mg 2 times a day for 5-7 days, and then 250 mg 1 time a day for 7-10 days.
In case of dizziness associated with dysfunction of the vestibular apparatus of the vascular and traumatic genesis, Phenibut-Astrapharm is prescribed 250 mg 3 times a day for 12 days.
For the prevention of motion sickness, a dose of 250-500 mg is prescribed once 1 hour before the scheduled start of rolling when the first symptoms of motion sickness appear.
The effect of phenibut is enhanced with an increase in the dose of the drug. In the presence of severe manifestations (vomiting and nausea), the use of the drug is ineffective even at a dose of 750-1000 mg.
To relieve alcohol withdrawal symptoms, the drug in the first days of treatment is prescribed 250-500 mg 3 times during the day 750 mg at night, with a gradual decrease in the daily dose to the usual for adults.
If one or more doses have been missed, continue taking in the previously prescribed doses. If the patient feels unwell, consult a doctor.
Children.
The drug can be used in children over 8 years old.
